I am a Polymer Technologist by education having studied for my Bachelors degree at Manchester Metropolitan University (John Dalton) in the 90's. I started my technical career in Polymers in 1984 with British Vita in Manchester (Latex compounds and Rubber compounds for six years). I then worked at Wardle Storeys in Blackburn (semi-finished products - calendered sheet and chemically crosslinked foams - five years). I moved on to the PVC Group in Chinley, High Peak to work as Technical/Quality Manager for their PVC compounds division - 2 and half years.

Some people have suggested that polypropylene can be age tested ie placed in a oven at 0 degrees centigrade for one hour , has anyone know why this is done
Is it possible to use high density polyethylene, injection grade on a injection stretch blow molding equipment to produce clear bottles? how clear (in comparison with PET) will the bottles be?
