I need to find out what type of plastics home hair dryers are made from. How are hair dryer bodies manufactured? What process makes them? I need this information for a manufacturing class project. Thank you. Janelle

There are a number of possible materials but most would be made from some form of "impact modified" styrene i.e. ABS or HIPS. The parts would usually be made via an injection moulding process.
