Glass filled PP polypropylene

Name:
Susumu Yamada

Hello all,

I’ve been looking for information about GFPP in Europe. Looked in many different applications, but any particular field that GFPP is being introduced? Any new market development? I’m new to this market and only so much I can do… HELP!!
Thank you

Yo Yamada-san.

Which type of Glass Filled are you referring to? Glass fabric, long glass fibres in mats, glass yarns, chopped glass fibres, etc?

You can find lot of market reports on several associations and publications websites.
Publications are extremely useful.

Publications:
Reinforcedplastics.com
Netcomposites.com
Compositesworld.com (It´s American, but obviously their market reports cover the Globe)

Associations:
BPF
AVK (german). These have published a study just a few months ago. Useful.
Eucia.org

Hello Nuno,

Thank you for your comments. We are manufacturer of short glass fibre filled PP and I desperately need to find customers, especially in this time.
Your suggestion is very helpful!! I will look into that. In the mean time, if you have any interests to our material, please let me know.
Thank you!

Konichiwa Susumu.

I think it would be helpful for everyone, if you identified your company, your contact, etc.
If you are a based in Europe there are plenty of associations whom to talk to.

Due you only do blending or do you also manufacture (semi) products?
In which areas/industries are you present?

I would suggest for you actually take a look at the reports available at the associations I told you about, as they give you a market forecast.
Take a look at the following http://www.netcomposites.com/InfoPages.asp?page=37
