I have been in the software industry for the last 15yrs and completely new to the plastic industry.

I have decided to set up my own company in the food industry.

I am looking to design a new packaging for my food product. I am struggling to find a biodegradable plastic that could be used.

After speaking to a number of companies they all say that they have a biodegradable product but when I get down to the detail they are not.

I also heard that the industry really does cater for biodegradable solutions that are cost effective.

If you know of a plastic that is biogradable, cost effective and reliable to use to contain food it would be good to hear back from you?
