I started work in the plastic recycling industry in 1984. I worked for my step father in his compounding factory. Our four extrusion lines compounded PTFE filled HIPS, masterbatch, polycarbonate and acetal (POM). I later became MD. In 1994 I set set up Cotswold Compounds (later Sytek Polymers) which supplied polycarbonate compounds to the injection moulding industry. I now run My PC Compounds Ltd which supplies polycarbonate and PC/ABS compounds and also deals in all types of scrap materials.

How can I find a product supplier for HDPE Plastic Lattice.
I am trying to track down a supplier of Tuffbilt plastic lattice products by Plastics Research Corporation - I have seen it in Dobbies Gardern centers used for their outdoor displays - recently in new Aberdeen store. I have found it in 2 planning applications as supplied by Ubique Products Ltd in Powys and in a This is London item entry for www.gardendecorative.co.uk however both websites and telephone numbers no longer seem to be in use. Since Dobbies are using it it must still exist, but the question is where can you purchase it from.
This is a product I can really recommend.
EPS Machine required
Hello
Does anyone have any information on different types of machines used to recycle EPS, we are currently using a RUNI screw compactor and have been looking at machines such as the Next-tec polycycle machine. We currently recycle approximatley 4 tonne of EPS per week.
Is there an industry leading machine which I may not have seen or heard of?
Also where can I find information on companies that will take in my product once compacted?

Are you aware of any reprocessor/recycling facility that accept/would accept food contaminated plastic film from the food and drink manufacturing in the UK and more specifically in Wales?
