Is there some basic information on plastics (especially those used in cable production), and their behaviour at low temperatures down to minus 40 degrees Celcius. I appreciate that cracking could be a problem with some materials, but is it correct that most plastics will become stiffer at very low temperatures, and therefore that bending properties will change.
