How do I establish what is a suitable shore hardness to a washer?

We have been asked to quote to make some bath drain wastes and have to buy in the foam washer that sits between the top of the waste and above hard plastic washer. I am assuming the shore hardness is crucial to establish the waste will not leak? The washer is white foam, I assume is some sort of EPDM but how do I ensure we install the correct type if I don't have a shore hardness established?

Expert academician in polyolefin catalysis and co-catalyst systems

I am looking for an expert academician who would be willing to help me improve the quality of a review paper I am writing for submission to quality journal. My superior in Malaysia reserves the right to be the corresponding author but if any academician would be interested to help us then he/she may be the first author of the work. The manuscript needs significant scientific touch up.

Flexible Plastic that can be machined.

Hello all

I am looking to have a prototype made for a belt strap on Jag Car. the strap core is made from Hytrel 7246. My question is this. Is there a material that can be machined and that will have enough flexibility in it to withstand being bent and twisted like a strap in test.

Regards

Colin
