Who manufactures sheet with one side impregnated with fiberglass cloth?
I apprenticed as a plastic welder part-time. We used white, polypropolyene or polyethylene (?) sheets of various thicknesses to fabricate horizontal and verticle tanks. The sheets were impregnated with fiberglass fabric on one side which was configured to the external side of the tanks. Then additional fiberglass was added to further reinforce and strengthen the tanks. Who manufacturers this product and what are their contact details (postal address, e-mail, phone number)? Thank you for your assistance.
Slot Die / Calendering TPE
We're looking at a project that requires our Mediprene TPE to be extruded / slot died / calendered onto film. I'm struggling to find any company that has a suitable pilot facility. The final extrudate / sheet is likely to be around 1mm thick and 100 - 200mm wide. This TPE is based on SEBS and is uniquely soft at 0 Shore A. We're interested in both trial and production supply. If you need to see data on the material, it's on our site at

bio plastic VS PVC
Hi all,
we handmake bags in Italy, women bags with different kind of plastic materials, mostly with polyvinyl chloride;
have a look on our website for further information and better explanation of what we do (WWW.PASSEPARTOUT-BAGS.IT).
I'm graduating in biology, and anyway I always have been aware by the problem of recycling these materials.
What can we do to
1) buy the raw materials we use in factories which are using CEE Protocols or are trying to be eco-friendly in the production procedure.
2) inform our customers about the recycling problem, give them tips on how they can recycle their products when it will be unusable/waste.
Thanks for your attention,
Sandrine
